Volunteers build playset to surprise boy with cancer

Volunteers in Winston-Salem gathered to bring joy to a little boy with cancer. Volunteers from Hartley Ready-Mix Concrete and the Roc Solid Foundation gathered at 6-year-old Vincent Alexander’s home to build a backyard playset for him and his sister. Vincent is battling leukemia. Roc Solid often surprises children with playsets during hospital treatment and provides ready-made bags to families after a child’s diagnosis. Vincent’s family said they were so grateful for the gift and could not describe how grateful they were. Vincent is already enjoying his new playground equipment.
