Video: SpaceX crew uses experience in Space to fight childhood cancer

(CBS) – The Inspiration4’s all-civilian crew held their first media release from space on Friday.

“Crew Dragon Resilience” said they not only enjoy seeing Earth from space, but are focused on their mission to beat childhood cancer. The group wants to raise $200 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

They also gave a tour of their home over the next few days, explaining how researchers in a zero-gravity environment can help later.

The Inspiration4 crew includes billionaire Jared Isaacman, who chartered the mission, Chris Sembroski, an aerospace engineer, Sian Proctor, an artist educator, and Hayley Arceneaux, a childhood cancer survivor treated in St. Jude.
