St. John’s Church hosting spaghetti dinner fundraiser for local boy with cancer

On June 26 from 4-7pm, the St. John’s Church Grove Building (683 Steelstown Rd., Annville) will be the site of the “We’re making a Fuss over Gus Spaghetti Dinner.” The church is selling spaghetti meals for $10.00 each to raise money for Gus Bomgardner, a young boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April.

Gus, one of Joel and Greta Bomgardner’s four children, underwent surgery shortly after the tumor was discovered. He has also undergone chemotherapy, in addition to recovering from surgery.

Each spaghetti dinner will consist of spaghetti with meat sauce, applesauce, a sandwich, a cookie and a drink. Meals are takeaway only.

Buying tickets in advance is recommended. To purchase tickets in advance, contact Jennifer Wolf at (717) 679-1577 or jaw4484@comcast.net.

Donations for the Bomgardner family are also accepted during this time.
