The drop off, location is at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Parking Lot, located at 708 Rt. 88 in Point Pleasant, NJ. This event will assist the Foundation in its mission to provide Hope and Help for NJ Children with Cancer. Community support of this event will enable the Foundation to help hundreds of children who are battling cancer with assistance they and their families desperately need.
“Our main source of generating income has always been in-person fundraisers, but that has been on hold due to the Pandemic,” said Monica Vermeulen, Founder/CEO of The Ashley Lauren Foundation. “This Clothing Drive is a way, at this time, to fulfill the status quo of what is considered safe during these difficult times.”
The Foundation will only be collecting the following “new and gently used” items: men, women and children’s clothing, shoes, purses, belts, bed and bath linens and stuffed animals. No pillows, books, toys, furniture, appliances, bicycles, strollers, or household items will be collected. All items should be placed in well tied plastic bags.
The Ashley Lauren Foundation will receive a donation for the total poundage.
